Pharmacy is the curriculum of formulating drugs in various dosage forms with the resources of Medicinal Chemistry, Synthetic Chemistry, Phyto Chemistry and Natural Products after assuring the Pharmaceutical Quality as per the US FDA standards.
Gujarat state is the hub of Pharmaceutical industries urging the need of Pharmacy Professionals to manufacture and distribute the drugs as per the need. Among the various parts of Gujarat, Junagadh is the place which is famous for most of the medicinal plants having Pharmacological values getting grown on its own in the GIRNAR Mountain. To exploit the natural gift of medicinal plants and to uplift the students, Junagadh Junior Chamber Education Trust (J.J.C.E.T.), started Pharmacy institute in 2005. Institute is conducting both Degree Pharmacy and Master of Pharmacy in the branches of Pharmaceutics, Pharmaceutical Quality assurance. Also, doctoral research program (Ph.d) is conducted in different branches of Pharmacy. The programs are recognized by AICTE, Pharmacy Council of India and affiliated to Gujarat Technological University, Ahmedabad.
The institute is having fully fledged equipments like HPLC, Rotary tablet Machine, Spectrophotometers, and Rotary Flash Evaporator etc. as per the norms. The campus is having Wifi internet connection with easy access to international and national journals through DELNET service which makes it possible to get the research articles, published in ELSEVIER.
Institute Library is stacked with latest textbooks and reference books with the Pharmacopoeial Bibles of different countries like India, United States, United Kingdom, Japan etc.
